We are the Save Rosenblatt Committee.

Spurred by the deep concerns of the Deer Park Neighborhood Association (DPNA) and the unanimous support of the South Omaha Neighborhood Alliance (SONA) this official committee was formed.  SONA is an alliance of over 30 neighborhood associations, south of Dodge St. and east of 72nd St. The committee is chaired by Jason A. Smith, president of DPNA, and has three other directors: Crystal A Rhoades, Secretary of SONA; Garry Gernandt, District 4Representative of Omaha City Council and Arnold Breslow, President of Old Market South Neighborhood Association.

Our purpose is to research and act upon any or all possible methods to save Rosenblatt Stadium from demise and to retain the facility as the future “home” of the College World Series. We also serve to represent the interest and desires of the people of south Omaha, and understand that we are a resource and a voice for people throughout the city and beyond. Our ultimate goal is to clearly and directly enforce the fact that significant improvements to Rosenblatt will be a great reward to the future of the College World Series.

We intend to work in concert with the Office of the Mayor and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to help solidify the option of retaining and improving Rosenblatt as the best solution for the City of Omaha, the NCAA Men's College Baseball and CWS fans everywhere.
